About Me
Hi, my name is Emma, and welcome to my website! Some of you may know me for my bookish content on TikTok and Instagram under the username, @charl1eswansong. I was born and raised in Kansas City and have recently relocated to Chicago. Below is some more information on my qualifications and relevant experience.
Education
I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Digital Media, from Kansas State University. During this time I gained first hand experience in everything from putting on a newscast to scripting a podcast.
Work Experience
In 2021, I began working for a digital marketing agency where I learned how to create, manage, and optimize Google and Facebook paid advertisements. That same year I also got into the book marketing world and began my work as an independent contractor for authors in the industry. Through this experience, I have gained extensive knowledge of TikTok content marketing strategies, as well as insider knowledge of the self/indie publishing sphere.
